Adult Jazz

Adult Ballet

Beginning 10/24-12/5 join us for adult ballet classes! Class will run Thursdays from 9:30-10:30 am. This class is an hour of Ballet, stretching, improving posture and strengthening the entire body! 5 Week Mommy & Me

30 Minute Mommy and Me Class for 2-3 year olds! This class is taken with a parent or guardian. It is a 5 week class that starts 10/26 and finishes on 11/23. Saturdays, 9:30-10:00am.

Bring A Friend Week

We enjoyed meeting all our dancer’s friends during Bring A Friend Week! Friends were able to come to class to see what our dancers learn each week and join in on the dance fun!

Open House

Stop by on August 13th from 4:30-7:30 to see our space and meet the owner and office manager! They will be there to answer any questions you may have about our dance program. Special discounts will be available, raffles will be held, and if you need to get fit for dance shoes you will be able to do that as well! We look forward to talking to you!

Wider Selection of Classes at Allegro Dance Added!

Allegro Dance will turn 3 in April and we are so proud of the studio it has become and the families it has welcomed! We launched our website in April 2016 and by August 2016 we ran our first Swan Lake Ballet Camp. In September 2016, we opened our doors for our first official season of dance. At that time, we had 6 weekly classes on the schedule and finished our first season with 21 kids. Now almost 3 years later and with a remodeled space to enjoy, we are finishing our 3rd full season of classes with 30 weekly classes and 405 students!! Wow!

As we continue to grow and open registration up for the 2019-2020 dance season, it is exciting for us to be able to add new class options and levels for our students. Here’s what is coming for the 2019-2020 season:

• 10-13 year old classes in Tap, Jazz and Ballet

• Leaps and Turns class for Ballet and Jazz dancers ages 7 and up

• A third level to our pre-professional Ballet program

• 33 weekly classes for you to choose from

• Adult dance classes

• Allegro Dance Ballet Ensemble’s first full length Ballet production in Spring 2020

• A closed circuit camera system displayed on our TV in the lobby for easy viewing of classes for parents

• New dance floor coming Summer 2019!

• Weekly Summer 2019 classes

Now Offering Hip-Hop Classes with Jessica Brady!

Meet Jessica Brady, Allegro Dance's newest instructor!  She specializes in Hip-Hop and you will LOVE her enthusiasm and energy she brings to each of her classes!

Jessica has danced since age four at various studios in Metro Detroit.  She danced competitively for several years in the subjects of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Modern.  Jessica was a member of Berkley High School's varsity dance team and Central Michigan University's varsity club hip hop team.  Jessica has choreographed over 50 recital routines so far, and she currently is the head coach for L'Anse Creuse High School's varsity dance team.  Jessica is excited to share her love of dance with dancers of all ages and abilities at Allegro Dance!

Start The New Year With Adult Ballet!

Start 2017 off on the right foot!  Join Adult Ballet on Wednesdays from 12:30PM-1:30PM starting January 4th. This session runs for 5 weeks concluding on February 1st and costs $85. 

Stretch, lengthen and strengthen while improving posture and learning the beautiful art of classical Ballet!  Taught by American Ballet Theatre certified instructor, Jenn Montie.

Allegro Dance Open House July 18th and August 12th!

Our first open house is July 18th 6:00pm- 7:30pm! Register for fall classes and come check out our facility! Our last open house of the summer is Friday, August 12th 2:00pm-3:30pm!

The staff of Allegro Dance will be available to answer any questions you may have about our staff, dance training, or facility!  We will also be able to enroll your little dancer in our August summer camp and our 2016-2017 dance season classes!  We are so excited to start our first year of premier dance training and we look forward to meeting you!
